Type 65 French Traditional Bread Flour
Type 65 French Traditional Bread Flour
As featured in renowned publications such as the Wall Street Journal, the Paris Tribune, and The Times (UK), this bread flour is a must-have for any discerning baker.
Un-bromated, un-bleached, cream-colored flour designed specifically for making France’s legendary traditional bread. In fact, in France it is illegal to make Traditional French Bread or Traditional Baguettes with any flour other than T65 Traditional Bread Flour.
While other French bread flours are standardized and may contain additives and conservatives, T65 or Type 65 Traditional Bread Flour is very pure and unaltered.
Flour is sourced from Girardeau Flour Mills of the Loire region of France, dating to 1843 and in the hands of the Girardeau family for four generations. Click here to visit their website for more information concerning their artisan flours.
Please note that the packaging has now changed, but it is still the same exact flour in bag!
Before, the flour couldn’t be sold in American supermarkets, because it didn’t have the necessary nutrition block. A new packaging was printed, and now the Girardeau mills fill our bags with their beautiful flour!
